Warranty Policy

As a Comate e-bike customer, your Comate e-bike is covered by an extended manufacturer’s guarantee in addition to the legally required warranty. We offer a 3-year limited warranty period on all original components. The e-bike components are guaranteed against manufacturing defects during the warranty period, except for several conditions as listed below.

The warranty does not apply to:

1.  Battery – As a consumable part, the battery is covered by a 2-year legal warranty.

2.  Tire – As the tire is a consumable part, even though we select tires of premium quality.

3.  Saddle and grips – Damages caused by scratches or other types of foreign object damage.

4.  Damage or defects due to accidents, incorrect assembly or installation of the product by the user, improper or negligent use, modification of the product, maintenance contrary to the product instructions (e.g., lack of maintenance of the brakes), or wear and tear or defects related to the normal use or lifespan of the product.

5.  Intense crash, accidents and force majeure.

Application Procedures:

1. Submit Your Proof of Purchase: Please send an email to service@comatebikes.com with your invoice and information such as order number, model, vehicle serial number, and purchase date.

2. Describe the Issue: Kindly provide a comprehensive written description of the issue. Photos and videos would be greatly beneficial in helping us understand and address the problem effectively.

3. Problem Identification: We will need your cooperation to check the status following our instructions step by step.

4. Swift Spare Parts Delivery: Once we verify the issue, we will promptly deliver the necessary spare parts from our warehouse in the Netherlands as soon as they become available in stock.

 

Due to the longer warranty period, the original model you purchased may undergo upgrades, and the replacement part might no longer be available in the same colour or model. In such cases, we will deliver either a different colour or an upgrade to the successor model, as agreed upon in advance.
