Comate was founded in Tilburg, Netherlands, in 2021, by four co-founders with a shared vision: To move towards a greener future using technology and passion. Our research in cycling and analysis of over 200 models of two-wheelers led us to develop the Comate C series e-bike - a perfect blend of comfort, style, performance, durability, and reliability.
Reliability
We’ve tested our e-bikes extensively in the lab and on the road. In the lab, we conducted a repeatability test that exceeded EU regulations, ensuring quality and reliability. On the road, we carried out tests in various conditions for over 18 months before the C models has been launched.

After more than 38 iterations, we are confident that the Comate C series e-bikes offer unparalleled comfort on the road!
Quality
We view the Comate e-bike not merely as a mode of transport, but an extension of the rider's body. That’s why we take extra care of our products, ensuring you enjoy a decade of comfortable riding with peace of mind.
Our Journey
Comate CT
After two years of dedicated research and development, we proudly launched the Comate CT in September 2023. The positive reception and valuable feedback from our initial customers have guided continuous improvements since January 2024.
Comate CC
In February 2024, we introduced the Comate CC, a step-through version with enhanced maneuverability and a lighter frame.
Dealers
We've also authorized over 20 dealers in the Netherlands and plan to expand to 100 dealers across Europe, further solidifying our market presence and customer service capabilities.
Our Progress
Our Philosophy
We believe that an e-bike is an extension of ourselves, responding intuitively to our commands and intentions. It should be as robust and reliable as the body it extends.
To achieve this, we source only top-tier components from around the globe, including the U.S., Germany, Switzerland, Taiwan, Italy, and more. But we don’t just assemble these parts. We conduct extensive compatibility tests under various conditions to fulfil our design objective: To build not just an e-bike, but a faithful companion for every journey.
We want more people to experience the comfort and joy of riding a Comate e-bike. To make this a reality, we strive to keep our prices affordable without compromising on quality or design. Our approach is simple: Efficient platform design, minimal advertising, no paid brand ambassadors, no unnecessary extras, efficient work patterns and long-term supply chains, low overhead costs, and a modest but sustainable profit margin.
Finally, we believe our company should be sustainable. Not only regarding the products deliver but also on a more structural basis by directly contributing to the planting of trees by OneTreePlanted. For each bike sold, we donate to them to plant three trees!
